How Massage Helps with Arthritis

According to Tiffany Field, PhD, director of the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine, sore joints and muscles can be eased with regular massage, leading to a significant reduction in pain for people with arthritis.

In this and other recent studies on the effects of massage for arthritis symptoms, researchers found that regular use of this simple therapy led to reduced levels of pain, improvements in mobility, less stiffness and better range of motion, increased hand grip strength and an overall improvement in function of the joints.

Massage therapy is a safe and effective natural approach to reducing arthritis symptoms.
