• Emotionally driven to touch the paint or the reality of the painting, a client asked for flowers that seemed to be “jumping out of the canvas”. So I created these vases, first with a green chalk, and then painted in oil over it to gain this transparency and the glass thickness of the vases. With the use of a knife and special adjuvant in the paint, the flowers took shape with their petals standing out for her to touch and dream of her future flower garden.
